Hello and welcome to our Connemara Marble Jewelry Shop online.

I'm an Irish-American jewelry designer. My ancestors came from Achill Island, Co. Mayo, and my maiden name was Kelly. Connemara marble holds a great deal of meaning for me -- it represents my heritage. I use Connemara marble, directly imported from Ireland, to create Celtic-inspired jewelry in sterling silver and other metals. I have here a number of selections of my work for you to choose from, designs that incorporate style, spirit and imagination to create jewelry that is both stylish and meaningful.

About Connemara Marble

Connemara marble is found exclusively in the West of Ireland, along the rocky, wild shore. It is quarried in the Connemara Mountains near Galway Bay. Varying in color from creamy pale green to shades of sage and moss to nearly black, it is the world's only truly green marble. It has been used for centuries in jewelry making and is often called Ireland's national gemstone. Connemara marble originated over seven million years ago and is becoming increasingly rare.

Selections

We have a full selection of many styles, all handcrafted with love and inspiration. I hope you find what you are looking for here, but if there's something you like but do not see, please ask. Some of our favorite designs were inspired by customers' requests.

Also, our Import Shop page contains directions for purchasing genuine Connemara Claddagh rings expertly crafted in Galway. This is a direct link to an Irish site where you can have the rings sent directly from Ireland to you by the maker -- fine work in sterling silver by a talented and professional craftsperson, and at a very good price, too.

We hope that though you come to shop with us as a customer, you remain to become a friend. Pull up a chair by the fire, pour a nice hot cup of tea and enjoy your experience here at Connemara Celtic Gems.

Beannacht! (Blessings)
